I don’t write reviews on my own often. I am very particular about hair and we have tried (boy/men) haircuts at so many different places locally. I think we finally found our go-to barber. Antonio did such a great job with my teen boys hair and I only came in with a picture or two. My son has medium length hair and I wasn’t even sure I could go to a barber for scissor cuts but we did and WOW. We will be back!!
Tracy is amazing! I am actually a retired hairstylist but my sons are very picky...happy to have found someone who can keep up with the teenage boy trends!!
My 13 yr old son is very impressed with his haircut! No easy feat! In fact the entire process was easy. He needed it cut right away before soccer tryouts and other places were booked or closed on Monday's, but lucky for him because not only were you guys open, Walk-Ins OK, but he was HAPPY :-) He will be coming back! 5 star!!
Best barber in Newtown! Locally owned and operated. There’s a barber here for every head of hair. I don’t know them personally, but the owners genuinely care. If you’re looking for a salon, this might not be your place.

This is a very nice place to get a haircut. The staff is nice and kid-friendly. I always take my son here so we both get a nice haircut. I recommend Antonio, though I never had a bad experience here.
I have been coming here now for the last 6 years based on a friend’s recommendation and this is a super barbershop. Staff is very friendly and I especially like Antonio and Ben. I don’t have much hair so my options are limited in what style to get but they make it all look good. Plus they razor shave with warm shaving cream the back of your neck which is a very nice thing to do. And they trim your eyebrows. Glad they offer a senior discount. Hours are very accommodating and they keep it very clean. I am a contented customer at Bowen’s.
